About Saint Croix
The United States Pony Clubs, Inc., develops character, leadership, confidence and a sense of community in youth through a program that teaches the care of horses and ponies, riding and mounted sports.
St. Croix Pony Club is an educational organization that teaches riding, mounted sports and the care of horses and ponies. Pony Club develops in youth the characteristics of responsibility, moral judgment, leadership, and self-confidence. Children learn all aspects of good horsemanship as well as a mounted education; graduates of the program are well equipped to manage the care and education of a horse. St. Croix Pony Club is part of the Sunshine Region, covering the U.S. Virgin Islands and portions of Florida and Georgia. St. Croix Pony Club is a charter member of the United States Pony Clubs, established in 1967 and serving the local community for over 50 years.
USPC Pony Clubs and Riding Centers are assigned to one of 41 geographical regions, which are administered by a volunteer Regional Supervisor (RS) and other appointed and elected officers. Regions offer additional activities and opportunities for members and support for the club and center leaders under their administration.
Saint Croix Pony Club is part of the Sunshine Region.
